SovereignAI

Why it matters · sixty seconds, drawn live

The whole argument, in ten shots.

If the sequence isn't playing — because you asked for reduced motion, or scripts are off — nothing is lost. This is the same sequence, written down.

  1. You are the most fragmented database on earth. Email, banks, the broker, the mortgage, the pharmacy, the wearable, the airline, the school portal, every AI you have ever typed a thought into. Forty-odd services, each holding a shard of you.
  2. Every company owns a complete profile of their sliver. Complete enough to monetize. Too partial to understand your life.
  3. Nobody owns the whole person — including you. Your bank knows what you spent, not why. Your doctor has the labs, not the sleep or the stress that shows in both.
  4. The joins are where your life actually is. Subscriptions against usage. Renewals against a calendar. What you were told, against what you decided, against why. No vendor can build them; no vendor should hold them.
  5. And now the thing collecting you remembers you. Every conversation makes the product better at knowing you and more expensive to leave. That isn't a flaw in the business model. It is the business model. The moat is the memory.
  6. So we built the opposite. One file on hardware you own. No account, no cloud, works offline. Zero runtime dependencies, so "audit the code" is an invitation you can actually accept.
  7. Every memory carries a receipt. How it entered, which conversation it came from, which model wrote it. If we cannot say where a memory came from, we do not keep it — and records older than that tracking say "unknown" rather than a backfilled guess.
  8. Deleting deletes. Zeroed on disk, not hidden behind a filter. You should be able to feel a delete, not trust one.
  9. The exit is a feature, not a promise. One checksummed export, encrypted with a passphrase only you hold, verifiable without importing it anywhere, in a format documented well enough to outlive us.
  10. And we publish what still isn't sovereign. The database isn't encrypted at rest. The model layer is borrowed — even open weights are someone else's artifact. An unknown is reported as unknown, never rounded up to a feature.

Own every layer you can.
Rent nothing you can't walk away from.
