Count your accounts. Each one holds a shard of you — complete enough to monetize, too partial to understand your life.

Email, search, the phone and every app on it. Banks, brokers, crypto exchanges, the mortgage, the insurance policies. Health providers, the gym, the wearable, the pharmacy. Retailers, the grocery app, the airline, the hotel chain. Messaging, social, gaming. The school portal, the car's telematics, the postal service, the utility company. Every AI provider you've ever typed a thought into.

Every company on earth has a complete profile of their sliver of you. Nobody — including you — has the whole person.

Your bank knows what you spend but not why. Your health provider has your labs but not your sleep, your food, or the stress that shows up in both. A retailer knows what you bought; only you know which purchase was a mistake worth remembering. An AI assistant knows what you asked in 2024; it doesn't know what you eventually decided, because you decided it somewhere else.

The joins are where your life actually is

A single shard answers a vendor's question: will this user churn, click, renew? The joins answer yours.

No vendor can build these joins, because no vendor has the shards — and no vendor should, because of what the joined thing is.

Why the answer cannot be a cloud service

The assembled whole — money plus health plus location plus conversations plus family — is the most sensitive dataset that could exist about you. Handing it to one company isn't a product; it's a hostage situation with a subscription fee.

Every previous attempt to "unify your life" quietly became an advertising signal or an acquisition target, because aggregated selves are exactly what the surveillance economy pays for.

This is the argument self-hosting was waiting for. Not ideology, not preference: the whole-you dataset is only safe on hardware you control, readable by models you point at it, in formats you can walk away with. The more complete the picture, the less anyone else can be trusted to hold it — including us. That is why this product has no cloud, no telemetry, no credential custody, and an audited sovereignty ledger instead of a trust-us page.

What reassembly looks like

The mechanics already exist in the product, proven on the first shard — your AI chat history.

  1. Export is a legal right. Privacy law made nearly every service on your list hand over your data on request. The exports are ugly, slow, and all different — which is a parsing problem, and parsing problems are what this import architecture was built for: bespoke parsers where formats are verifiable, a documented generic format for everything else, provenance on every record, idempotent re-runs.
  2. Distillation turns archives into understanding. Imported data is inert until a model — yours, running where you decide — sweeps it for what matters durably, writing memory that names its source and its author.
  3. Provenance keeps it trustworthy. A reassembled self is only useful if every claim in it can answer "says who?" Every memory carries its origin, source, and authoring model; every export carries checksums.
  4. The exit is load-bearing. The reassembled you rides in a documented, verifiable, optionally encrypted format — and distills into a portfolio you can paste into any AI you'll ever use. Reassembly without an exit would just be one more shard-holder.

Today this works for AI chat history and for the inbox — because receipts, statements, bookings, and renewals make email the backdoor to half your life. That is the roadmap: not more chat, more of you, reassembled where only you can read it.
